Aurore Method of Healing for Children
These are some examples of children of various ages creating three dimensional music in the AMHC class.

As always the child listens to the sound, makes the sound and then draws what they hear.
All of the pictures represent the Pythagorean octave, unless otherwise stated.
This is done on paper with various art mediums, such as; crayons, watercolors, and markers.
I recommend Stockmar or Lyra and try to integrate it with precepts of the Waldorf method.

| I first created the AMHC with my own children and this was an important part of my older son coming out of autism and now composing music. It is a revolutionary early music therapy based on color and sound. I recreated it two years ago with a much more Waldorf oriented perspective and have taken out piano until the adult teeth start to come in. This means that the child has ample time to tune into pure tones creating a good foundation of pitch before vigorously studying more complex instrumentation. The AMHC is raw, simplicity with amazing results. It creates a primal level of music and language learning then what has been previously made available. As a side, the healing aspects of pure tones, intervals and harmonics are accomplished at an early age; having a lasting powerful healing effect throughout their life. Of course, adults and any ages can benefit from working with color and pure tones. I highly recommend purchasing the therapeutic sound CD on the store/product page (cheaper than Amazon). The CD is a nice edition to yoga, meditation or active learning. The instruments I use are from Nova Natural toys, which I highly recommend.
