I have another blog about pyramid plans from earlier-but here is an updated response to the new one that just came out by Chopra-called "Zii"
One thing that separates me from other natural health care workers is that I strive to get to the core metabolic and emotional issues of my clients and ween them off expensive hypnotic supplement ploys and pyramid schemes-this is one part of our great capitalistic society that I don't like-getting people hooked on expensive herbal concoctions is just as dangerous and morally wrong as getting them hooked and addicted to drugs and pharmaceuticals
Good, balanced health is and should be cheap and economical. I keep very little supplements in my office and only resort to them for detoxes and certain organs but the goal is to get people healthy and happy from within-
Many of these products do little more than entertain people, suck them dry financially, and make people "feel" psychologically protected and better....so, in a placebo type way, it can be good. However, most of these herbs that are beneficial are very cheap and readily available, why spend the extra money if you don't have to? Hence,
Any real healing comes from within-there has to be a core change from within. We are certainly spiritually more than just genitically modified, supplementally deficient organisms.
I hope this Chopra product works, but I have to admit I am quite disappointed that this is a Chopra endorsed product-to me it is right up there with Xango, mannatech, and Amway-alas, this type of belief system is deeply embedded in the American psyche....and everyone wants a "piece"of the pie...
