Truth or Dare: The FDA Flaunts it's Misuse and Abuse Openly...

I woke up today to read that the FDA, the American "health" watchdog, has approved safe levels of melamine for baby formula. The article is cited in The Associated Press by JOAN LOWY and JUSTIN PRITCHARD on November 29, 2008. This is the title "FDA sets melamine standard for baby formula," how does that make you feel? I hope it disturbs you...should we ever become numb to the constant barrage of poison chemicals let off into our food supply and surroundings because of a few winks and secret handshakes in high places? Keep in mind melamine is responsible for killing thousands of family pets a year ago and more recently thousands of babies in China. One thing that led up to the infants death was the communistic propaganda that the "state" baby food is safer and better then Mother's breast milk. But, I am not convinced that even breast milk is devoid of all of these contaminents and so perhaps it would have been a matter of time any way. So here we are in the "States" and the government has taken over the banks, healthcare, etc....have we been also misled into thinking the FDA is truly interested in the health of the average American?

Ironically, the FDA spends it's time chasing the raw milk dairy farmers and anyone else that cuts into their profits rather than rooting out and stopping the cause of all of these brain, immune, body damaging contaminents. Putting their stamp of approval and shutting their eyes, thus turning them into health mafia organization pushing and shoving people and the truth out of their way. They probably know that beyond baby food, American's are getting a hefty dose of melamine from all of the Chinese toys and products. What is the cliche here then? Ah yes,...if you can't beat em, join em...

This reminds me of the propylene glycol handshake of 15 years ago. Propylene glycol the main ingredient in anti-freeze started showing up in human tissue and breast milk. This led the FDA to set a "standard" and then within the next few years propylene glycol became a sweet cheap preservative and began popping up everywhere. Not just in cosmetics, shampoos, and dedorants but..gasp, in food as well. Through some of my own investigations I have found that cancer causing chemical in Baskin Robbins ice cream and popular cake mixes...it never ceases to amaze me where I find that truly tragic chemical.

To go back farther we have the FDA aluminum handshake with Alcoa, where fluoride was allowed into our water supply, even while it was banned by other countries. Miraculously, with the push for big profits and the inevitable mass exposure from run off, the aluminum/fluoride standard was born. Let's not also forget the safe levels of mercury in vaccines...etc, I could go on and on. I imagine American's putting their Wii's and TV remote controls down, throwing down their sports pages and baseball bats and footbals... RUNNING to their capital steps and demanding change. I imagine American's worried about their children's future and disgusted about how they have been lied to and manipulated for profit...but this is both a dream and a nightmare. Because the truth is, like most of the daily shocking news being streamed out into the publics eye, it will be glanced over and disposed of and never given another thought. They don't have to hide it anymore, because we simply don't care...ah hah, the side effects from the fluoridated anti-depressants and water supply is working (read my blog on fluoride to find out what it does to the brain).
