In regards to Dr.Mercola- I don't like the fact that he does not allow for comments or questions. I tried contacting him myself because some of the information he was presenting was wrong and I could find no way to contact him. Also, in his videos, he does not make eye contact with the camera and frequently avoids it by looking to the left while he is talking...that to me makes me very uncomfortable with receiving his information. I am always glad when people post videos- you start to see them for who they are and psychologically process their information they are presenting in a different way.
Mercola's Cococassava bars are extremely expensive and look like a good product-although, coconut is not good for every constitution-and is only native to a few American states.
I still buy the chlorella from him when he offers deals-but in
some way I think he has made himself too much of an untouchable health guru-reminding me of Andrew Weil and Kevin Trudeau (he charges money for his site and he is not a doctor or health professional but a jack of all trades media friendly entrepreneur- this is one of the reasons I wrote my own book "Beyond Natural Cures").
I think people lives and health should come above our own fame and ego..
I am very open to other people's comments and have changed my stance on issues many times based on upcoming research or information. An example of this is agave-I had no idea so many people were having problems-until I was told. As Naturopaths, Doctors,...even as Parents,
There is something to be said about the healing effects of humility and having an open-mind for change and enlightenment.
I recommend staying away from hypnotic sales tactics and health hype-
and keeping a part of your mind that is your own....
