Case Study: Acne, myself
Two years ago I had a bad 6 month span of cystic acne that just would not
clear up. It appeared after I detoxed in the spring and never went away. I
believed I had not detoxed properly-as all of the toxins came out on my skin
and thus remained on there. It took me several months- utilizing the same
protocols as my daughter, however, I am not a pitta but a kapha, so I had to
fine tune my diet and re-detox in the fall. This time spending lots of time on
my kidneys and blood with cleavers and chlorophyll. I was horrified when
someone tagged this picture to me in facebook, as I thought I had covered up
my blemishes with make-up. I didn't take alot of pictures of myself.

Case Study: Acne, my daughter
My daughter developed acne her 12th year. She had eczema under her
nose as well. She was very committed to healing herself. With a change in
diet, I put her on a strict pitta/nourishing tradition diet (no onions,
pomegranate tea, aloe, raw milk-etc.) Color therapy every day, facials
with barley green and carrot and my own special facial pesto acne
treatment consisting of tamanu, basil, lemon and rosemary. This took
three months to heal and changing the protocol every three weeks. First
treating the build up of excess sebum and bacteria and then rebuilding the
skin from the inside out. She is still sensitive to fried foods- which she
does not eat often but will definitely cause a flair up.

8 year old girl presenting severe scaling, peeling and redness on her chin area.
Was diagnosed as psoriasis by medical doctors. I was able to trace the
emotional ties of the rash to loneliness at school and a longing to be home with
her mother. Physically, I utilized color therapy, constitutional homeopathy,
magnetic acupuncture and a gentle ayurvedic detox. I also included some
anthroposophical protocols.Within 6-8 treatments the results were dramatic.

encouraged the mother to keep up on helping her daughter release her emotions
physically and to use a color therapy light at home to heal the scar. Mother
was extremely cooperative and committed to healing her child.
