Waking the American Dream Parts 1, 2, and 3 These books are an extension of Aurore's first book "Beyond Natural Cures". In part one she painfully and truthfully describes her struggles in Motherhood and setting herself free to love her children and be honest. She heartwrenchingly explains her journey from heartless conservative child abusing breeder to loving, truthful and human Mother. You will laugh and cry your way through her memoirs of early childhood memories by means of Orgonomy treatments, with her and her husband and then their son. You will tearfully resonate with her passion to love her children at all costs and become the Mother that she and her children deserved. Like her first book she uncovers the primary need to be honest and truthful concerning our feelings and life. She poses these questions: Why do women continue to lie about their births, their children, and themselves? Part two Poetry and Art Aurore has compiled all of her poems she had written throughout the years during her dark episodes of Motherhood and what some people term "post-partum" depression. Aurore used her depressed time as a time of self expression; chronicling through art and poetry her intense periods of anger, frustration, loneliness and rejection. Part Three: Mothers Waking the American Dream This book has been an American Dream that she has had for five years. She has been working earnestly to get this out. It is only a quarter of the way finished and she is still looking for more women to contribute their birth/motherhood stories. Aurore is looking for mothers who are willing to come out of the closet with their motherhood and detail their journey from unconscious mother to conscious mother. She is looking for women who had odds against them, or were judged harshly. For instance, she uses herself as an example as a sister in law called child protective services on her because she had a home birth and doesn't vaccinate. Do you have a story to contribute? Are you an African American woman that has birthed in power, or a Lesbian couple that have gone against the odds to fulfill your dream of becoming mothers? Did you believe you couldn't do something and accessed an inner power to do the impossible? Aurore is not looking for perfect mothers or mystical stories but for perfect honesty a page in length and a few poignant raw pictures- a sort of before and after.
